BAKLAVA 
3 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped
1/2 tsp. cinnamon (ground)
1/4 tsp. ground clover
1/3 to 1/2 c. sugar

Mix the above together.

1 lb. fillo (strudel dough) laves
1 1/2 c. sweet melted butter

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Place 5 fillo laves in a 13 x 9 1/2 inch pan. Butter each as it is stacked. Evenly sprinkle 5 heaping tablespoons of nut mixture. Place 2 leaves on top. Brush with butter. Sprinkle 5 tablespoons of mixture. Repeat process.

Place remaining fillo on top buttering every second leaf. Trim edges with a sharp knife. Score top sheets into diamond shapes using "up and down" motion. Bake 45 minutes to one hour. Take out of oven and let baklava cool down.

SYRUP:

2 c. water
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. honey
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 cinnamon stick

Bring the above ingredients to a boil and cook for 10-12 minutes. Let cool and pour the mixture over the cooled baklava.
