FROSTED VANILLA CREAMS 
1 c. raisins
1 c. soft butter
1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
3 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. half and half (half cream and half milk)

Chop raisins. Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until creamy. Stir in raisins and flour resifted with salt. Add half and half to make dough pliable. Use one tablespoon dough for each cookie; roll into ball. Place balls on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 12 to 15 minutes, until set. Frost when cold. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen.

FROSTING:

2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. half and half

Beat powdered sugar, vanilla and half and half until smooth. Divide in 3 parts and tint in pastel colors with food coloring.
