ORANGE SHERBET JELL-O 
2 pkgs. lemon Jell-o
2 c. boiling water
1 pint orange sherbet
2 c. mandarin oranges, drained
1 c. chopped nuts
1 banana, mashed
1 sm. can crushed pineapple, drained
2 tbsp. mayonnaise
Cool Whip

Combine the jell-o and boiling water stirring well until jell-o is dissolved. Add the orange sherbet and mix well. Add the mandarin orange slices and chopped nuts; chill. Prepare the topping by mixing the mashed banana with 1/2 of the Cool Whip; add the pineapple and mayonnaise. Fold into the rest of the Cool Whip and spread over the jell-o. Chill well before serving.
