Sunshine brand vanilla wafers
3 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
2/3 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling

Mix cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla well with electric mixer. Drop 1 vanilla wafer (upside down) in bottom of mini muffin cups or mini muffin pan. Spoon cream cheese mixture into cups and bake 10 to 15 minutes at 375 degrees until tops crack slightly. Drop one cherry onto the top of each one and serve when cool (or after chilling). Yield 40 servings.
