JELLO PIE | |
1 sm. pkg. lime Jello 1 sm. pkg. orange Jello 1 sm. pkg. strawberry Jello 3 graham cracker crusts 1 pkg. strawberry or lemon Jello 2 c. cold water 1 c. pineapple juice 3 c. hot water 1 c. cold milk 2 pkg. Dream Whip 1 tsp. vanilla Prepare the first 3 packages of Jello separately using 1 cup hot water and 1/2 cup cold water for each package. You can use any colors of Jello. Flavors don't really matter. Pour into separate pans. I use 3 round cake pans. Chill until firm. Cut into 1/2 inch squares. Heat pineapple juice with sugar until dissolved. Remove from heat and dissolve other Jello in hot liquid. Add remaining 1/2 cup of water. Chill until syrupy. Prepare Dream Whip with milk and vanilla as directed on package. Do not use frozen whip. Fold into syrupy Jello. Then fold in Jello cubes. Pour into pie crusts and chill until firm. Beautiful. Pretty for Christmas with red and green cubes. Makes 3 pies. |
