CREAM OF VEGETABLE SOUP 
2 c. chopped celery
2 c. chopped onion
4 c. water
4 c. frozen mixed vegetables
2/3 tsp. garlic salt
1/3 tsp. pepper
1 c. evaporated milk (lg. can)
1/2 c. potato flakes
1 tsp. butter
Parsley flakes

Add celery and onion to water; bring to a boil. Lower heat and let simmer 1/2 hour. Bring to another boil; add vegetables, garlic salt and pepper. Let simmer for 1/2 hour. Turn off heat and add canned milk, potato flakes and butter. Sprinkle top with parsley flakes. Serve hot.
