SUNDAY CHICKEN 
Chicken:

2 tbsp. butter
3 tsp. curry powder
1 apple
1 onion, chopped fine
6 pieces of chicken
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup cream (not milk)
salt and paprika

Melt butter and sauté curry powder, apple and onion. Add soup and cream.

In a shallow buttered baking pan lay chicken in one layer. Salt and paprika well. Pour sauce over chicken.

Bake uncovered at 350°F for 1 1/2 hours. Serve over raisin rice.

Raisin Rice:

1 1/3 cup rice
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup onions
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup raisins
2 tbsp. butter

While rice is cooking, sauté onions and almonds in butter until light brown. Add raisins. Mix lightly with cooked rice. Salt if needed.
