MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 qt. popped popcorn

In a 2-quart microwavable dish, melt butter. Add brown sugar, salt and corn syrup. Bring to a boil in microwave and boil on full power for 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir in soda. Stir well. Spray paper grocery bag with cooking spray. Pour in popcorn and pour syrup over popcorn. Close bag and shake. Microwave in bag on High for 1 1/2 minutes. Shake again and microwave for another 1 1/2 minutes; cool. Stir while cooling in large bowl.

Serves many.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
