F.'S CHICKEN SOUP 
1 chicken, giblets & feet (if available)
1 lb. carrots, peeled & sliced
1/2 lb. turnips
1/2 lb. parsnips
1 lg. onion, peeled (cut 4 slits on top)
1/2 bunch fresh dill
1/2 bunch fresh parsley
3 stalks celery
4 chicken bouillon cubes
Salt or seasoned salt to taste
Pepper or seasoned pepper to taste
2 tbsp. soup greens, dried (optional)

Put all ingredients in a large pot. Cover with water and 2 inches above. Bring to a boil. Simmer about 1 1/2 hours or until tender. If you want to serve with Matzo Balls,. start after soup has been cooking 1 hour. I use Manischiwitz Matzo Ball Mix according to directions on box.
