CHERRY CHOCOLATE KISSES 
1 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. maraschino cherry juice
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Few drops red food coloring
1/2 c. maraschino cherries, drained & chopped
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
48 Hershey kisses

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine butter, powdered sugar, cherry juice, almond extract and food coloring. Blend well. Stir in flour and salt. Add cherries and mix well.

Form 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 5 minutes. Press chocolate kisses into cookies and bake 5 minutes more.
