MRS. K.'S CARROT CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. cooking oil
4 eggs
3 c. finely grated carrots
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

FROSTING:

1 lb. powdered sugar
1 cube butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese

12 3/4 x 9 x 2 1/4 inch or two 9 x 1 1/2 inch round pans. Blend in large bowl, sugar, flour, spices, salt and soda. Add oil, eggs, carrots and nuts, mixing well. Pour into greased pan and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Frosting: Blend together powdered sugar, cream cheese and butter. Spread over cake. Serves many.
