B.B.Q. SPARERIBS 
2-3 lbs. country-style spareribs
1 1/2 c. ketchup
1/3 c. beer
1 lg. onion, diced
Salt and pepper to taste

Bake ribs with some water at 350 degrees until tender; drain. Mix ketchup, beer, onion, salt and pepper. Pour over the ribs and bake for another 30 minutes.
