4 or 5 lb. brisket of beef

MARINADE:

3/4 c. tomato puree
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. liquid smoke
Salt or garlic salt to taste
