TUNA-NOODLE CASSEROLE | |
6 oz. noodles (3 c.), cooked according to pkg. directions 1 (6 1/2 - 7 oz.) can tuna, drained 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1 c. sliced celery 1/3 c. chopped green pepper 1/3 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. chopped pimiento 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. cream of celery soup 1/2 c. milk 1 c. shredded American cheese Mix first 7 ingredients. Blend soup and milk and heat. Add cheese; heat until cheese melts. Add to noodle mixture. Turn into 2 quart casserole. If desired, top with 1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds. Bake, uncovered at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 6 servings. |
