GRAPEFRUIT PIE (DELICIOUS) 
1 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 lb. grapefruit slices
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water

About 3 grapefruit. I have used canned grapefruit with good results.

Cook sugar, cornstarch, salt and water until thick and clear. Add few drops red food coloring. Make a layer of grape-fruit slices in baked pie crust. Add layer of glaze. Repeat. Top with whipped cream. Chill.
