OVEN HASHED BROWN POTATOES | |
3 lbs. potatoes, unpeeled 1/2 c. butter 2 lg. onions, chopped 2 tbsp. Worcestershire 2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. chopped parsley Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease 10 x 6 x 1 1/2 inch baking pan. Put potatoes in saucepan; add boiling salted water to half cover them. Cover; boil for 20 minutes, or until tender. Drain; cool; then peel and cube. Place in baking pan. Melt butter in skillet; saute onions for 2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients. Pour over potatoes; stir with fork to mix. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Just before serving, put under broiler for a few minutes to brown. Serves 10 to 12. |
