ITALIAN SAUSAGE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lb. mild Italian sausage, cut in 1/2 inch lengths
2 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. oil
1 green pepper, cut in strips
4 med. onions, sliced
1 c. sliced mushrooms
3 med. potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Oregano and garlic powder to taste

Simmer sausage in water and oil until almost tender. Layer ingredients in order given, seasoning each with spices and ending with a layer of sausage.
