MUSSELS AND BEER 
1 1/2 oz. can bottle of beer
1 lg. clove garlic, crushed
Pinch of ground allspice
1/2 tsp. dried red pepper
1 bay leaf
3 pinch parsley
5 lb. mussels (cleaned & scrubbed)

Put all ingredients in pot to steam; then add mussels and cook 7-8 minutes.

DIPPING SAUCE:

1/2 c. unsalted butter
2 tbsp. crushed cloves
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2-1 tsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. prepared mustard

Mix all together and use for dipping mussels.
