WORLD WAR II SYRUP CAKE 
1 c. Karo syrup
2 eggs
2 c. flour
3/4 c. butter or shortening
1/2 c. cocoa
3 tsp. baking powder
1/3 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Mix well. Bake at 350°F in loaf or Bundt pan until done a toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
