SPRITZ 
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. butter
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Colored sugar

In large bowls cream sugar and butter. Add vanilla, almond extract and egg; mix well. Blend flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture; mix well.

Force dough through cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with colored sugar. If dough is too soft, refrigerate for 5 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
