MAYONNAISE PASTRY 
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mayonnaise
3 tbsp. cold water

Mix flour and salt; blend in mayonnaise with fork. Sprinkle on water; mix well. Press firmly into ball. Divide almost in half. Flatten larger portion; roll out on lightly floured surface into 12 inch square.

Place in an 8 x 8 inch baking pan. Fill with meat mixture. Roll out remaining pastry. Place over meat mixture; seal edges. Cut slits. Brush with egg yolk and water, if desired. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 6.
