1 box classic pound cake mix
1 stick butter, softened
2 eggs
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Mix and spread in 9 x 12 inch pan. Set aside. 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix and spread into pan on top of pound cake mix. Put in cold oven. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes.

NOTE: Spread thin layer of cooked and sweetened dried apples between the pound cake and 2nd mixture. Enhances the taste (optional).
