BARBECUED CHICKEN 
6 lb. cut up chicken

Seasoning Mix:

1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. ground turmeric

Sauce:

2 c. ketchup
3 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. orange juice concentrate
1 tbsp. Seasoning Mix
1/2 tsp. liquid smoke

Pat chicken dry so seasoning coats well. Set aside.

Combine Seasoning Mix. Coat both sides of chicken. Reserve 1 tablespoon mix for sauce. Store leftover in a covered container. Grill chicken, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Turn and grill 30 more minutes or until chicken is tender.

In a small bowl, combine sauce ingredients. During last 10 minutes of grilling, brush chicken often with sauce.
