BARBEQUED CHICKEN | |
2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 c. catsup 1/2 c. finely cut celery 1/8 tsp. red pepper 1 med. onion, chopped fine 1/4 c. lemon juice 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 c. water + 3 tbsp. vinegar 1 tbsp. salt 3 lbs. chicken, cut up, roast about 30 minutes and drain off fat Mix all ingredients except chicken, place chicken in heavy skillet; cover with sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until browned, basting often. About 8 servings. |
