JELLY ROLL 
4 egg yolks
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
jelly
1/4 tsp. salt
Powdered sugar
4 egg whites
1/2 c. flour

In bowl, beat egg yolks at high speed 5 minutes or until thick and lemon colored. Gradually add the 1/3 cup of sugar, beating until sugar dissolves. Add vanilla; mix well. In another bowl, beat whites until soft peaks. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar until stiff peaks. Fold yolks into whites.

Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; sprinkle over egg mixture. Fold in gently. Grease and lightly flour a 15 x 9 x 1 inch jelly roll pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven 12 to 15 minutes. Immediately loosen edges of cake from pan and turn out onto towel sprinkled with sifted powdered sugar. Roll up in towel; let cool. Unroll. Spread with jelly and reroll. Cut into slices.
