1 1/2 c. cooking oil
3 eggs
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
3 grated apples
1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
2 tsp. nutmeg (optional)

Cream oil and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour sifted 3 times with salt and soda. Add vanilla, pecans and apples. Bake in oblong pan at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
