ONION MUSTARD BUNS | |
2 pkgs. yeast, dissolved in 1 c. warm water, add a little honey 1 c. warm milk 1 tbsp. mustard 2 tbsp. melted butter 1 tbsp. salt 2 eggs 5 or 6 c. flour 2 tbsp. instant minced onion Beat together milk, butter, salt, eggs, and half of flour; add dissolved yeast. Beat for 10 minutes and add mustard and onion. Add rest of flour and knead dough. Let rise twice - one hour each time. Make into buns and let rise 35 minutes. Before putting in oven; top with mixture of 1 beaten egg, 2 tablespoons instant minced onion, and 1/4 cup water. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes and then 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. |
