MINTY SNOWBALLS 
6 c. puffed rice
1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
1/2 lb. marshmallows
1/2 c. crushed peppermint candy sticks (10 sticks)
Shredded confectioners' sugar icing on flaked coconut

Heat puffed rice in shallow pan in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 10 minutes. Pour puffed rice into large greased bowl. Melt butter and marshmallow in the top of double boiler over boiling water. (Do this while puffed rice is in the oven.) Stir butter and marshmallow until smooth. Add crushed peppermint candy. Pour marshmallow mixture over puffed rice until kernels are all covered.
