CHERRY MUFFINS 
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. frozen or canned cherries
2 eggs
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. milk

Drain cherries well. Cut into pieces. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into bowl. Toss cherries into flour mixture to coat.

In small bowl, beat eggs, add butter and milk. Stir into flour mixture, just to blend. Do not over mix. Fill muffin cups 3/4 full; sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, if desired.

Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. 20 muffins.

These were very good tasting. However, I would have baked them at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes. Mine were raw in the middle with this cooking time and temp.
