TOM AND JERRY BATTER 
1/2 lb. butter
1 1/2 lbs. powdered sugar
6 eggs, separated
1/8 tsp. salt for egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla

Separate eggs, beat whites until stiff. Cream yolks and butter, add sugar, vanilla and beat until creamy. Add whites and beat well. Use brandy and dark rum for a really good Tom and Jerry. Just brandy is okay too.
