1 German chocolate cake mix 1 1/2 pkg. caramels 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. butter 1 c. chocolate chips 1/2 c. chopped walnuts Mix cake as directed. Pour 1/2 batter in greased jelly roll pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt caramels, butter, and milk. Pour over cake. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Pour remaining cake mixture on top; sprinkle with chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 250 degrees and bake for 12-15 additional minutes. |
