CRANAPPLE WALNUT CAKE 
1 3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 lb. chopped fresh cranberries
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. walnut pieces

Cream oil and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Sift dry ingredients. Stir into egg and oil mixture. Stir until moist. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees in greased 9x13 inch pan for 40-45 minutes.
