STALE BREAD STICKS 
8 slices day old bread (at least)
1/2 c. cooking oil
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
Graham cracker crumbs

Cut bread in finger width strips. Cut strips in half crossways. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake in 200 degree oven 2 hours.

Just before bread is ready, put oil, sugar and peanut butter in saucepan over low to medium heat and stir until sugar is melted. Put sticks in large mixing bowl (not plastic) and pour hot mixture over it. Lift sticks with spatula until all are covered. Pour some crumbs in a small bowl or bag and put a few sticks in and shake until covered. Continue doing this until all sticks are covered. You will have to add crumbs as needed.
