MOUNTAIN PASS CHILI 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. salad oil
1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chili peppers (to taste)
1 tsp. black pepper
1 c. water
1 onion (chopped)
1 can pinto beans
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. chili powder

In a heavy skillet, cook meat and onions in oil, stirring with fork. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Serve immediately or simmer until serving time. Yield: 4 servings.
