BAKED RICE PUDDING 
4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar or to taste
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 tbsp. rice

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Put in all the ingredients in a buttered baked dish and stir to blend. If you don't like your rice pudding too sweet start with only 1/4 cup sugar then taste. Bake for 3 1/2 hours, stirring 3 times during the first hour of baking so the rice doesn't settle. (Raisin Rice pudding, add 1/2 cup raisins to ingredients.)
