SUPPER OVEN STEW 
1-2 lbs. stew meat, cut in 1/2 inch pieces

VEGETABLES:

Carrots, potatoes, celery, onions, rutabaga, etc., cut in serving size pieces (quantity and variety to please family)

1 (16 oz.) can V-8 juice
2-3 tbsp. tapioca
1 slice bread

Lay meat and vegetables in tightly covered roaster. Add juice and tapioca. Lay bread on top. Bake 5 hours at 250 degrees. Discard bread.

Serves 4-6.
