OVEN BEEF STEW 
Beef stew
Carrots
Onions
Potatoes
1 can tomato sauce
Water to cover meat
Salt

In a heavy saucepan, put trimmed beef stew, tomato sauce, water to cover meat, and salt. (I like to use either herbed tomato sauce or add a few herbs of my own choosing to add flavor). Cook covered in oven at 275 degrees for 2 or 3 hours until meat begins to get tender. Add vegetables and water just to cover. Return to oven and cook until vegetables are tender, 1 or 2 hours. Juice should be thick and yummy. (A winter favorite at my house).
