FREEZER SLAW | |
1 head cabbage, shredded 1 bell pepper, chopped 1 carrot, chopped 1 c. vinegar 2 c. sugar 1/4 c. water 1 tbsp. salt Shred cabbage, sprinkle with the salt, let stand for 1 hour. Squeeze out some of the juice. Add to pepper and carrots. Heat vinegar, sugar and water until sugar is dissolved. Cool to lukewarm. Add to vegetables. Put in cartons and freeze. |
