GERMAN COLE SLAW | |
1 head cabbage, shredded 1 onion, thinly sliced 7/8 c. sugar Combine above ingredients and set aside. Boil together: 1 c. cider vinegar 2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. celery seed Cool liquid and then pour over cabbage and let stand. Will keep in the refrigerator for 3 weeks. (I keep it in a large glass jar.) |
