1 pkg. chocolate cake mix (with pudding in it)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar

TOPPING:

1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1/4 cup sugar

Grease and flour a 9x13-inch pan. Preheat oven to 350°F.

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour into pan.

Mix together cream cheese, chocolate chips, egg and 1/3 cup sugar. Drop by spoonfuls onto cake batter. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and 1/4 cup sugar.

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 40 minutes.
