APPLE SNACK BARS | |
1 c. whole wheat flour 1 c. quick cooking oats 3/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. applesauce 1/3 c. oil 1 tsp. vanilla 6 oz. dried chopped apples 1/2 c. chopped nuts 3/4 c. crushed bran flakes 2 tbsp. butter, melted 1/2 c. honey Combine flour, oats, soda and spice. Combine applesauce, honey, oil and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients. Stir in fruits and nuts. Combine bran and butter. Sprinkle half over bottom of greased 13x9 pan. Drop batter over and spread. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees. |
