MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 (8 oz.) can yellow cream style corn
1 c. cornmeal (yellow)
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/2 lb. hamburger meat, browned
1/2 lb. grated cheddar cheese
1 lg. onion, chopped
2-3 chopped jalapenos

Mix the eggs, soda, corn, cornmeal, salt and milk; set aside. Brown and drain hamburger meat. In greased 9"x13" baking dish, pour half of batter, then the meat, onion, cheese and jalapenos. Pour other half of batter on top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
