SAVORY OVEN BEEF STEW 
2 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 med. onion, sliced
2 stalks celery, sliced diagonally
6 carrots, cut in chunks
6 potatoes, cut in chunks
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. minute tapioca
3/4 c. tomato or V-8 juice

Place meat in 9 x 13 pan. Add vegetables. Mix salt, sugar, and tapioca. Sprinkle over meat and vegetables. Pour tomato or V-8 juice evenly over the meat and vegetables. Cover pan with foil, sealing tightly around the edges. Bake at 250 degrees for 4 hours.
