SCALLOPED HASH BROWNS 
30 oz. pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 c. grated med. Cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
1/4 tsp. salt
Pepper
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. corn flakes

Mix 1/4 cup butter with all ingredients except the corn flakes. Combine remaining butter with corn flakes. Pour into 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with corn flake mixture and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Serves 8-10.
