FRIED CHICKEN (KIRANTOTT CSIRKE) | |
3/4 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt Pinch pepper 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 tbsp. water 1 c. fine dry bread crumbs Shortening enough for at least be 1/2 inch deep 1 frying chicken, cut in pieces Mix flour, salt, and pepper together and roll each piece of chicken to coat well. Mix the egg and water and then dip each flour coated piece in the egg mixture. Then roll each piece in the dry bread crumbs. Let stand for a few minutes. Just until you get your grease heated so the coating will set. Then when the grease is fairly hot put the chicken in and brown on all sides and be careful no to crow the pieces in the pan. The chicken need air around it while it fries. When it is nice and brown, you can drain off most of the grease and cook until done or you can take each piece out and put on a clean cookie sheet and bake for crispy, or put into baking pan and cover and it is softer. |
