PEANUT BUTTER CRISS CROSSES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 beaten eggs
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
Dash of salt

Thoroughly cream shortening, sugars, and vanilla. Add eggs. Stir in peanut butter. Sift dry ingredients. Stir into creamed mixture. Form tiny balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press with back of fork to form criss cross. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
