SOUR CREAM CHEESE BREAD 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. (115 degree) water
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Sesame seed (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Dissolve yeast in warm water in mixer bowl. Add salt, sugar, soda, sour cream, egg and 1 1/3 cups flour. Mix well. Stir in remaining 1 cup flour and cheese. Place dough in greased 5 x 9 inch loaf pan. Sprinkle with sesame seed. Let rise in warm place for 50 minutes (will not double in size). Bake for 25-30 minutes or until light brown. Remove immediately to wire rack. Yield: 1 loaf.
