1 c. Crisco
2/3 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. grated orange rind
2 tbsp. orange juice
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts (original)

Cream Crisco and sugar. Add egg. Mix in flour, soda, salt, orange rind and orange juice, then chocolate chips and nuts. Drop teaspoon on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees.
