INDONESIAN PORK AND CHICKEN 
1 lb. lean pork, slivered
2 tbsp. peanut oil
3 chicken breast (cut in 2-inch pieces)
1 c. onion
1 1/2 c. celery slices
1 tbsp. curry powder
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. cayenne (red pepper)
1 lb. Chinese vegetable, drained
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. chicken broth
Peanuts, coconut for garnish

Saute pork in oil until brown; remove. Add chicken; brown and remove. Add onion, celery. Reduce heat; cook until tender. Add seasonings; stir until blended. Add Chinese vegetables; replace chicken and pork.

Stir together: cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce, and broth. Add to casserole. Bring to boil. Cook until almost dry. Serve with rice. Makes 6 servings.

Very spicy. Rice dilutes hot taste. Serve pineapple for dessert/sherbet good accompaniment.
