NEW ENGLAND STYLE BAKED BEANS 
1 lb. bag dry Navy beans
1 lb. bacon, cut in sm. pieces
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. maple syrup
1 tsp. dry mustard

Soak beans in water overnight.

In the morning, rinse soaked beans. Cover with clean water and boil for 10 minutes; reduce heat, cover and allow to simmer 1 1/2 hours; drain. Put beans in crock pot. Add all remaining ingredients along with 1 cup water, mix well. Uncover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours or on high 4 to 5 hours, stirring occasionally.
